The Pills Make NO SENSE | American Horror Story Double Feature RANT!

Okay, we have to talk about the pills from AHS Double Feature. Maybe they are further explained in the forthcoming episode (I hope), but it is more than likely that they will continue to be inconsistent. I’m not mad about the science they made up in order to move the story along, but I’m not sure I’m okay with how they’ve broke their own rules in order to tell the story they want to tell. For me, the pills make NO SENSE in American Horror Story: Double Feature!

AHS Hotel Episode 3 “Mommy” Breakdown

In episode 3 of American Horror Story ‘Hotel’: we say goodbye to another familiar face, learn that James March has never heard of Google, see new motherly figures and watch more blood spew than we have buckets to clean up.

Detective John Lowe picks up speed in his 10 Commandments investigation, but seems to be closer to divorce than an arrest. Angela Bassett returns this season as Ramona and she is out for total revenge against The Countess (Lady Gaga).

Liz becomes a mommy whisperer for Donovan. Iris enlists Sally for personal help but her plans fall short. Donovan and Iris end the episode with a moment of bloody motherly bonding. Twisted poetic justice is served.

AHS Hotel Episode 9 “She Wants Revenge” Breakdown

Episode 9 of American Horror Story ‘Hotel’ is named “She Wants Revenge,” but who is She? Could it be Liz Taylor? Ramona Royale? Miss Evers? The Countess (Lady Gaga)? Probably all of the above. One thing’s for sure, The Countess has a long “To Kill” list, Iris likes to channel her inner Dirty Harriet, and vampire kids enjoy hot homeless meals.

If you thought Botox was a miracle to reverse the signs of aging, think again. Being a vampire has kept The Countess looking young for over a century. What’s the point in looking young if your lovers, Natacha Rambova and Rudolph Valentino, are gone– unless it turns out that they’ve been imprisoned in Hotel Cortez’s walls for years. Count your days, James March! In other news, it’s time to finish what she started with Will Drake; wedding bells here we come.

Donovan isn’t interested in The Countess anymore. In fact, he’s willing to team up with Ramona over a nice glass of blood and tied up film stars. Or is he… Well, it doesn’t matter because The Countess is head over heels in love with Rudolph.

By the end of the episode, The Countess crosses one more person off of her kill list.

AHS Hotel Episode 5 “Room Service” Breakdown

It’s time to add vampire children to your phobia list. In Episode 5 of American Horror Story ‘Hotel,’ blood transfusions have been taken to a whole new level. We also find out what’s worse: bloodthirsty vampire kids or influencers demanding discounted hotel rooms.

Sure, Alex Lowe may have saved a child’s life but she also created an army of vampire children which cost a handful of lives. Meanwhile, her soon-to-be ex-hubby John Lowe hasn’t had it together since Holden was abducted and actually files an official police report about his Devil’s Night encounter at the Hotel Cortez? Why John, why?

But the best part of this episode when The Countess takes Nick Pryor under her wing and gives him the motivation to become the hotel goddess Liz Taylor. And now that Iris has joined the eternal life club alongside Donovan, she can finally make the best of her nights with a tall glass of blood and triple sec courtesy of Liz.
